DESCRIPTION

A meadow-and-tobacco character drawn from the American estate-garden tradition. Washington's Blend opens fresh and herbal, settles into a wildflower-and-moss heart, and finishes on woody-resinous notes — the scent of a founder-era courtyard at the height of summer.

Top notes: bergamot and citrus zest, black tea, fresh-cut herbs

Heart notes: green foliage, meadow grass, wildflowers, moss

Base notes: cedarwood, patchouli, musk

Made with donkey milk for its skin-conditioning fatty acid profile (omega-6 linoleic and omega-3 linolenic acids — long-chain essentials your skin can't synthesize on its own). Humulus lupulus (hops) extract is added as a soothing botanical with traditional skin-calming properties.

Net weight: 4 oz / 114 grams. Single tallow build at $25.99.

Contains no parabens, no chemical sulfates, no dyes.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a puck of Washington's Blend last?

Most shavers get 5 to 6 months out of a 4-ounce puck with daily shaving. The Tallow base lathers efficiently — you don't need to load heavily — so a puck stretches further than a typical mass-market soap.

What does Washington's Blend smell like?

See the scent walkthrough on the page above for the structured top/heart/base note breakdown. Washington's Blend is a heritage americana composition that develops over a 3-4 hour wear time on skin.

Why is it called Washington's Blend?

Washington's Blend is a tribute to George Washington — the heritage Americana scent for the shaver who wants the founder-era register. Pairs with 1776, Old Glory, Jamestown Gentleman in our American historic line.

Is Washington's Blend available in a Vegan build?

Currently Washington's Blend is offered in a single Tallow build only. For an unscented vegan shaving soap, see Sans Parfum Vegan Shaving Soap; for vegan-build versions of other scents, see our Wave 02 and Wave 03 cohort pages.

Do I need a brush, or can I lather with my hands?

Washington's Blend is a hard puck designed for brush use. A synthetic or boar brush builds the best lather. Hand-lathering works in a pinch but won't get the dense, conditioning lather the soap is designed for.

Is Washington's Blend a moisturizing shaving soap?

In the way most shavers use the word — yes. People search for "moisturizing shaving soap" looking for a soap that leaves skin feeling conditioned, hydrated, and protected. The technical term we use is "conditioning" because the soap is rinsed off, but the experience matches what people mean. Washington's Blend on our Tallow base delivers exactly that conditioned skin feel. For an actual leave-on moisturizer, pair with our grass-fed tallow zinc oxide cream.

Can I use Washington's Blend in cold water?

Yes — Tallow soaps lather well in cool water with a 30-45 second build. Hot water gives a slightly faster build but isn't necessary.

Where is Washington's Blend made?

In our New Jersey workshop. Saponification, scenting, pressing, and packaging all happen in house. The fragrance compound is mixed by an American perfumer.
