Timmermann Green Label 1869 Shaving Soap

Pasteur’s one of the oldest brands in America acquired another well known brand Timmermann. Founded in 1869, Timmermann had a suite of old formulations in their archives. For over 100 years Timmermann served the discerning customers of New York City with quality products.  The formulations were dormant in a forgotten, handwritten book deep in the repositories of Timmermann shops.

Pasteur jumped on the shave soap formulation and decided to update it.  Pasteur partnered with WhollyKaw to update the shave soap formulation and bring it to modern standards with artisanal elements. WhollyKaw worked with Timmerman’s archives and found great recipes for other products.  Stacks of ancient books and yellow parchments were among the archives.  Some of these formulations go back to the founding days in 1869 and were untouched since that time.  For the shave soap formulation, superior ingredients like Donkey Milk, Whey Proteins, Hops Extract were added and the formulation was updated to bring to high quality standards that are now continued by Pasteur and WhollyKaw.

Scent profile: Tobacco, Oud, Vanilla, Amber, Basil, Geranium, Peach, Nutmeg, Jasmine, Rose, Patchouli and Musk
